2013 Viewing Schedule   Leave a comment

In efforts to varietize my schedule and also to save money I find it extremely difficult to be selective in shows I want to see for 2013.

At this point here are shows I am considering seeing. I have to narrow things down in the next couple weeks. Sometimes I hate being on a tight budget.

January
101 Dalmations Riverbend Youth Company 1/18
February
1 Timeless Beat Rivebend Youth Company
15 Riverbend School of Theatre Arts 1 Act Play Festival
16 Nashua Symphony Orchestra Concert
21-24 Rumors at Peacock Players

Little Mermaid at Peacock Players and Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 at Milford Area Players run the same weekend. I may actually work backstage for Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 but haven’t decided yet.

12-14 Company at Stagecoach Productions I am still on the fence about auditioning for this one. I haven’t fully made up my mind yet. If I don’t end up auditioning I will definitley go see it.

Throughly Modern Millie and Curtains are the same weekend as Meet Me In St Louis so I won’t be able to go to those.

I also took a look yesterday at the New London Barn Playhouse and Interlakes Summer Theatre websites and they have really good line ups for the summer. They are both doing Les Miserables. If I was a fan of that show I would try to go see both productions and compare them to each other. I have seen Les Mis twice in the past and it’s not my favorite musical… seeing the movie version that is coming out soon may change my mind. However at the moment the two shows I want to see at ISL are Dreamgirls and The Full Monty and the two showa I want to see at NLBP are and

I am also very anxious for the NHTA Nominations to be announced to see if Oklahoma *both PTA and NLBP productions* and all other shows I saw this year were nominated. Can’t wait til the ceremony on Jan 26th.
